The French Horn

The French horn is a musical instrument.  It is a member of the brass family.

The French horn consists of about 12 feet of brass tubing wrapped into a coil.

French horns have 3 or 4 valves played with the left hand, while the right hand is placed in the bell to control the sound and pitch.

French horns are played by blowing air through closed lips, producing a "buzzing" sound.
