Makin' Music, Inc is an educational
music service under the ownership of Brian & Shirley Faulkner of
Russellville, Arkansas, USA. The educational component is divided into
several divisions including
preschool music services,
teacher training workshops,
and sales of educational materials

Dr. Brian K. Faulkner is a 1987 graduate
of
Arkansas Tech University in
Russellville, Arkansas with a BS in Music Education. He is a 2002 graduate
of the
Nova Southeastern University's Fischler
Graduate School of Education and Human Services with a Master of
Science degree in Early Childhood Education and completed his Doctorate of
Education in Child Youth Studies in Fall 2008. He is also an Adjunct
Professor of Education with the
Fischler School of Education and Human
Services at Nova. Brian teaches the early childhood classes and
conducts the workshops. He is a member of the following professional and
civic organizations:
Brian was also appointed in 2005 by then
Governor Mike Huckabee to serve a three year term on the Arkansas Early
Childhood Commission.

Shirley
Faulkner is a 2003 graduate of
Arkansas Tech University in
Russellville, Arkansas with a Bachelor of Music Education degree with
emphasis in voice. In addition to working with Makin' Music, Shirley
operates a non-profit organization, the
Arkansas Center for Music Education
(ACME). ACME provides home school and private school music opportunities
and community performance groups. In addition, ACME provides music classes
for the Community Based Instruction (CBI) program at Russellville High
School. She is also the conductor of the
Community Festival Chorale.
